The Bridge Theater Players, first known as the Jubal Players, launched in 1981 with our production of The Singer by Calvin Miller. Dramatic productions, including The Robe and The Diary of Anne Frank, dominated our early history, but by the early 1990s we recognized the role that comedy can play in helping people relax and find common ground, and we added productions from this genre, including staples such as Fools, God’s Favorite, You Can’t Take It With You, The Curious Savage, and others. All in all, we have produced nearly 20 shows over the years.

Our troupe paused activity after our 2009 season, but our 2021 production of Joe DiPietro’s Over the River and Through the Woods was a tremendous success! With a renewed focus on the power of theater to enlighten, entertain, and unify, we are ready for more!

Many of us were introduced to theater in similar ways, and discovered a passion that has impacted our lives, our families, and our communities. We invite you to “take the plunge” as well. We welcome people of all ages and experience levels to join us. Come find out what the theater experience can do for you!
